Citrix Workspace app (CWA) for Windows version 1808 CWA for Windows version 1808 provides improvements in graphics quality for sessions using legacy graphics mode (GDI graphics mode), when DPI Scaling is enabled on the client. Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 1912 LTSR and Workspace app for Windows 1911 introduced support for EDT MTU Discovery. If using these versions (or newer) of the VDA and Workspace app for Windows, this workaround is not required. Please review the documentation for more details. Weve had issues when connecting to a XenApp environment from non-GPU Horizon VDI where the remote application menu bars would delay, apps would hang, etc. We were able to resolve this back on Receiver 4.9 by disabling hardware acceleration via ADMX policy/template.

Citrix Workspace app for Windows 1808; Citrix Receiver for Windows 4.10; Citrix Workspace app for Mac 1808; Citrix Receiver for Mac 12.8; Enable or disable HDX Insight virtual channel. To disable this feature, set the Citrix NetScaler Application Flow service properties to Disabled. To enable, set the service to Automatic.
Please do not download clients directly from Citrix.com as the newer clients may not be supported on CCCASPER. The CC does not provide support for personally owned equipment (POE).

PIV Card Intructions
CCCasper requires the use of PIV cards for on-site or remote access. If you forgot your PIV card or are having difficulty using your PIV card for login, contact the CC Service Center at 301-496-8400 or visit https://ocio.nih.gov/Smartcard/Pages/default.aspx.

Important Notes
*** If you cannot load CRIS from CCCASPER on a Mac: ***
1. Update the Citrix client using the link above.
2. Rename the computer to 15 characters or less with no spaces or special characters.
3. Call CRIS support at 301-496-8400 to have the new computer name registered.

For best performance always connect directly to your network via a network cable. Wireless and wireless broadband will work but may lose connectivity.
