Evernote now has a 17+ rating, due to a built in web browser that theoretically could be used to view adult content, as such Apple requires the 17+ rating’. This being available in their new update. As our Colleges 1:1 iPad programme restrict apps to a 9+ rating, these students will have it autom. Evernote, the hugely powerful and versatile note-taking app for iPad and iOS, has had big update today – to Version 5.0. The app’s interface has been completely revamped and now offers quick access to all these features on its main screen. This version was released today (10.8) do not update to this version. You get to the new Home Screen and the app freezes. I tried force quitting the app, rebooting both my iPad and iPhone, same thing the app freezes and you cannot get to your notes at all. Others are starting to report this on the official Evernote forums. Evernote for iPad For those who don’t know, the purpose of Evernote is that of allowing you to build your own digital scrapbook made of notes, pictures, links, sounds, whatever. You can organize all your stuff in notebooks and tags, search and apply filters to keep everything always under control. I am having similar problems getting a Shared Notebook to appear on a fresh iPad install of the Evernote app. Hi there @BananaBread, after a fresh install, try going into 'Shared with me' in the main Evernote app and adding the notebook(s) you're joined to.
